After the dinner Two paintings by Reg Payne were auctioned off, the proceeds to be given to the Bomber Command Memorial. Sir Michael, President of the Bomber Command Association, presented them to the successful bidders.

1998 reunion.

Wilber told me that he was shot down whilst his aircraft was attacking a battleship in a Norway Fiord and that he spent the rest of the war as a POW.

John completed a tour on 61 and a 2nd tour  with Coastal Command.

Jack Morrison Navigator.

Jack was in my crew. He has been unable to attend reunions since 2003 owing to ill health.
